Urban Strings welcomes Hampton University Director of Chamber Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble, Professor Jerry Bracey for

Jazz and Strings: A Residency for Youth Musicians

This event will take place Saturday, November 17 at the Martin Luther King Branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library, 1467 E. Long Street, Columbus. Professor Bracey will lead two sessions.

Session 1: 3:00-4:00 p.m. for musicians that have been playing 2-3 years

Session 2: 4:15 -5:30 p.m. for musicians that have been playing for 4 or more years.

This event is free and open to all youth musicians, but space is limited. Click here to sign up!

To pay your dues online, please click the button below. Please note: PayPal charges 2.9% + $0.30 to all transactions. Please include this additional amount with your dues.  Example: Half Note Quarterly dues are $120, add 2.9%, $3.48 and add $0.30. The total due is $123.78.

Want to Donate?

Your donations go to musicians in need. Scholarships are awarded to dedicated string players with limited means to support the development of musical skills. We also accept donated violins, violas, cellos, and basses that help musicians who may not be able to afford a stringed instrument. Donate ›
